Deadman Handle Application

Where & how Deadman Handle is used

  • In abrasive blasting operation, a remote control or deadman handle attached to the blast hose is held shut closed by the operator. Deadman handle is used for on-and-off blasting operations in an abrasive blasting machine.
  • In the simplest words possible, a portable shot blasting machine has a deadman handle as an on/off switch.
  • When the operator discharges the handle the signal is stopped via control hoses to a valve on the blast vessel.
  • The deadman handle depressurizes the machine and stops the blasting process.
  • Deadman handle used in industrial sand blasting operations.

Full product overview & narrative

Introduction of Deadman Handle

The pneumatic deadman handle is reliability and easy to use in industrial sand blasting machine operations. Made from robust RCC aluminum, this handle ensures durability and a long service life under rigorous conditions. Its large-lever design allows for easy operation, even in glove-heavy environments. The handle’s bleeder-style mechanism ensures a continuous airflow, which is crucial for precise control during blasting operations.

This high-quality brand belongs to the pressure blasting cabinet systems consequence category. Just precise arrangement & companion of all strategy elements in a blast machine allows for optimal blasting efficiency. As a result, Ambica Enterprises provides a diverse & comprehensive selection of increased grade products. Deadman handle is a pneumatic remote control for blast machines that has a quick response time. The two line air system provides a high level of protection while also making valve replacement simple and quick. Our interlock feature lowers operator fatigue, while optional dual function delivers extra operational possibilities.

The deadman handle is utilized for pneumatic remote control valve of blast equipment. Deadman handle delivers excellent safety since it decreases response time mandated to shut down the blast pot in the event of an emergency, & automated handle system stops the blast approach when operative terminates it for any explanation. As a result, the RLX handle meets transnational safety regulations specific must be followed throughout blasting activities. Similarly, the RLX deadman handle streamlines blast pot beginning procedure since the abrasive shot blasting machine operator may start the blast pot himself immediately in front of the jobpiece, eliminating requirement for a second machinist to manually start the blast pot.

Our interlock option lowers the machinist's weariness since he no longer has to worry about pushing RLX while blasting & can instead focus on surface & blast process. Incorporated fall security system, whichever opens RLX valve & stops blast process, further boosts machinist safety. The lock is attached to wrist, authorizing deadman control handle to be terminated by gravity in event of an accident.

The RCV-125 pressure discharge pneumatic systems utilize return-air concept. A pneumatic deadman handle positioned at blasting nozzle links pneumatically to sand blast machine's intake & exit valves. Accompanied by safety petcock on the intake valve closed, the operative anguishes handle, whichever extends inlet valve & closes outlet to begin blasting; terminating handle changes procedure & blasting stops. This safety device prevents blasting if operative relinquishes control of the nozzle. When the blast session is finished, safety petcock is extended to prevent activation, actually if a handle is despondent.

For applications mandating regular starts & stops, machines should be supplied accompanied by pressure-hold pneumatic remote controls, whichever maintain abrasive blasting machine underneath pressure while authorizing the machinist to start & stop blasting as required. The machine is manually inflated & depressurized, & remote control lever turns on & off the abrasive & air unassisted. These systems are unrestricted in both pneumatic & electric versions.

Working of Deadman Handle

When the deadman control handle is turned, the twin-line control hose's circuit closes. A pressurized chamber forces top & descending valves to separate from one another. In this arrangement, reserve air goes via the bottom valve & flows to the blast machine & sand blasting nozzle. The top valve shuts the blowoff connection via the diaphragm.
When the deadman handle is terminated, the red pressurized sand blasting hose attaches to atmosphere via a limitation in relation to the deadman handle. At the same time, the blue hose has an unfettered relationship to the environment via a deadman handle. In this case, blow-off pressure forces top valve down, allowing the pressure inside the blast machine to run via the port into bleed-off manifold enclosure& finally through the silencer to the ambiance.

Your system (from 60-300 L capacity blast machine) contains all the pieces needed to set up your remote-controlled single enclosure blasting procedure. Aside from this material, it again contains a blast machine procedure handbook. Blast pot accompanied by safety deadman handle. This deadman requires a spring-loaded safety bounty to be adjusted before primary handle can be employed. This provision guarantees certain blast pot isn't accidentally activated, whichever may occur if a regular deadman control handle is extracted over the sand blast room floor.

Installation Process of Deadman Handle

To finish installation, observe the instructions below:

  • Ensure specified associations are airtight.
  • Ensure certain colored and letter-marked relations on the control valve & deadman handle are properly attached. Cross-linkage consequences in a non-operational system.
  • Secure the deadman handle appropriately to the blast hose, just beneath the sand blasting nozzle holder.
  • It is suggested to join the twin-line control hose to the sand blast hose every 1.5 meters.
  • Combine the blast hose to the machine & nozzle.
  • Relate the helmet air filter to the air reserve from the machine pipe as well as the sand blasting helmet.

Deadman Handle Features & Benefits

  • Aluminum design ensures the handle is robust.
  • Various lengths of wire are available.
  • Deadman handle assembly uses a highly visible cable to improve safety, especially at night.
