Where & how Plastic Media is used
Full product overview & narrative
Sand Blasting Manufacturer Plastic Media does not cut as deeply as ceramic media, but it produces nicer results. Plastic abrasive media is excellent for deburring soft materials such as aluminum, zinc, copper, and brass, as well as pre-plate surface finishing. Precision finishing delicate parts, smooth finishing, and achieving a mat surface are some of the other applications.
We produce this media in a variety of sizes and forms, including cones, pyramids, tetras, tristar, wedges, paracones, and octocones. Plastic media from Sand Blasting Manufacturer produces high-quality, consistent, and, most importantly, repeatable surface finishes the first time, every time.
Plastic abrasive media is made entirely of recycled materials. Supplier of plastic abrasives in five hardness grades for quick and cost-effective paint removal, blast cleaning, deflashing, and deburring. Plastic Media Blasting provides superior cutting action and results without marring or harming even the most delicate surfaces. Plastic abrasives are also commonly employed as anti-slip fillers in paints, floors, and varnishes, as well as non-skid aggregate formulas.
The military pioneered the use of plastic media blasting to substitute harmful chemical strippers in the stripping of aircraft and aerospace components. The most prevalent method of paint removal was chemical stripping, which used plastic abrasive media. Plastic media blasting provides considerable environmental and worker safety advantages, as well as significant operational savings, and quickly became a preferred method of paint and coatings removal. Plastic media blasting allows operators to remove paint and thermal spray gun coatings from aluminum and steel without warping, marring, or pitting surfaces or compromising mechanical functions, bearings, or seals. Plastic media strip surfaces smooth in preparation for new paint and coating treatments. When employing acceptable blast parameters, hard abrasives such as sand, steel shots, and aluminum oxide can damage surfaces; however, plastic blast media offers excellent alternatives for effective paint removal without hurting even delicate surfaces.
